Un nouvel album d'Annihilator pour 2017
Jeff Waters, le leader d'Annihilator (Thrash Metal - CAN), vient d'annoncer sur sa page Facebook qu'un nouvel album du groupe verra le jour en 2017.
Selon le chanteur/guitariste canadien, le seizième opus sera "plus agressif" et bien plus dans la veine des premiers albums que ne l'était Suicide Society, le dernier album en date paru en 2015.
Le communiqué officiel de Jeff Waters :
"JEFF WATERS: "In response to a huge amount of interest in the next (16th studio Annihilator cd!), I can only say that I am NOT going to deliver you fans a melodic, softer Annihilator record... what i am coming up with lately is pretty aggressive and seemingly back to early times. It doesn't happen often & you can't really plan how things will turn out... but I just wanted to let you know where the new record is heading! I am quite sure there will be a lot of old-school thrash fans happy with Annihilator in 2017 !! ... and we love you all you metal fans! :)
Currently working on our most-awesome fan-friendly Blu Ray/DVD/cd audio disc package that should be done in October and coming out, if lucky before Xmas... lots of work on this and it is being done 100% for you and not us, label or money... UDR has been very gracious by sinking a lot of money into this package, knowing that it will likely not make a ton of money. Thanks to UDR for standing by us! The package will likely consist of 3 seperate dvd/bluray discs + 2 cd audio discs: a live concert, a live acoustic set & a kind of "2016 mini-documentary".
A spree of Canadian shows coming: Sept 10 Toronto, Sept 12 Ottawa & Sept 17 Calgary Metal Fest. The Opera House and Brass Monkey shows will be a riot & the Calgary fest features us with Exciter, Razor, Sacrifice and a ton of great metal bands.
Germany gets my well-known silliness + musical journey show when Epiphone brings me for another clinic run in October. Look forward to rockin these again and meeting every one of you German metal fans there! It will be a blast! Not a boring guitar seminar thingy!
Then comes Part II of the Annihilator "Suicide Society" cd touring cycle in Europe! THAT is gonna rule. Lots of different songs and fun this time around! Get Tix asap!
After the tour, there is talk of a special USA show... that would be the first ANNIHILATOR show in the USA since 1993 ! WOW! WE will let you know soon!
70,000 Tons Of Metal. Say no more, other than it is the most amazing time any metalhead could every have... 60 killer bands (the one's announce so far are the best!), the "Jamming With Waters In International Waters" All-Star jam again (always the biggest, most-attended show on the cruise!) & ANNIHILATOR hits the stage there again! :) WOW!
